Pamela has been absolutely amazing for Rach . She’s not gotten below a 80 for anything in science this year and Pamela has been so helpful with exam revision and sourcing other past papers from other schools. She’s gone way over and beyond and we are so grateful to her . I’m certain that the results will also reflect in Rachel’s exam marks which I’ll be sure to send through to her . So appreciate her investment in Rach over this year.

It’s not often that a family will meet someone who has such a wonderful and exciting impact on them. Your patience and your diligence with both Dakota and Keano are uplifting and remarkable. Thank you for the hours of steadfast commitment to Dakota and Keano, I have seen them evolve, and their ability to now comprehend and navigate their school work has been a great achievement. I asked her if I could call her this morning after Michael’s test, to ask her how it went. She called me immediately afterwards and was just absolutely magnificent! Shout out to Natalie who’s helped my son Buchule with confidence first then with maths, even his teacher says he carries himself differently now in maths lessons. For the duration that Natalie has worked with Buchule the results are amazing. I wish we met her earlier in the year. She’s a star. Thank you so much Natalie and the Turning Point Team.

Claudia has been absolutely brilliant with Alex. He has scored well in his Afrikaans and Maths tests since she started and we feel like she’s been instrumental in helping Alex get up to speed with things after moving countries. Huge thank you to you and the TTP team during this time and we plan to continue in the new year.

Kirsty has tutored my daughter for the last few years. She is kind and patient. Her knowledge of Math’s concepts is excellent. This combined with her gentle nature takes away any potential fear of Math’s. Kirsty is the perfect Math’s tutor!

My son said the workshop was awesome! We are grateful that he is now able to meaningfully put into action and apply the skills you taught him in preparation for his last assessments before he starts final exams in November.

What makes Boity stand out from all the other tutors I’ve had is that she’s very attentive. She genuinely cares about whether you understood what she’s saying or not. You feel so important when you’re with her, because she treats you like you’re her number one priority. There’s never been a time where I feel like I’m frustrating her or annoying her when it takes me a while to understand the concept. She’s very patient and all she wants is to see you do your best, which I appreciate so much.

Ethan started his journey with St Davids Marist Inanda in Grade 8, coming from a remedial environment, Bellavista School. Ethan is profoundly text dyslexic and has a generalized anxiety disorder. However, he is resilient and determined. Mom was extremely nervous with the transition to mainstream school. Ethan has many concessions and one important one is that he can make use of a scribe and reader to group tests and exams.

Turning Point was recommended to us and we were introduced to Ndyebo as Ethan’s scribe and reader. Their journey began in Grade 8 and Ethan is now in Grade 10 still using the incredibly competent services of Ndyebo. Ndyebo and Ethan have a really happy bond and he enjoys her company. She has taken the time to get to know him, they manage tests and exams like pros and Ndyebo is reliable and passionate about making sure Ethan is well looked after. We are hoping Ndyebo will be with us in this journey to the end of his matric year.

Turning Point manage this relationship very well and keep us informed. I would recommend Turning Point to anybody who needs tutor support.

I would really like to thank you for an excellent service. My son had reading problems since he was in Grade 2. He was only diagnosed with dyslexia in Grade 5. My boy has blossomed since he has a reader. His confidence is growing and it has made a world of difference in his attitude toward school. He is now in Grade 9 and thriving. I can highly recommend The Turning Point Education who specialise in private tutoring. I’ve only had positive experiences with them, particularly with Garda. She tutors my son Geography and Business Studies. She is always very well prepared, she pitches all her lessons at the right level. She has tutored my son since Grade 11. He is now in Grade 12. My son’s marks have improved from the 50’s up into the 70’s. She always keeps the lessons relevant. I couldn’t ask for anything more. She really is outstanding!

We would like to thank you for all the lessons our son has had from Shanri. She is absolutely awesome with him and the two of them work very well together. Shanri goes out of her way to help our son achieve better marks with his Afrikaans at school and often sends through additional notes and past papers for him to work on outside their lesson times. He is encouraged to work harder and better with this subject of Afrikaans.
